SO, Halloween thing... meet at Readings Cinemas Wellington at 6:00pm. Movie is at 6:25 (bring $15, not sure how much it'll cost). Finishes at 10 to 8, hopefully Caddyl will teach us Thriller XDDD Then we go trick-or-treating - we'll probably catch a bus up to where me and Rachel live-ish. There are one or two sleepover ideas floating around??? So... talk to me or Pura about it.

So what's everyone doing for Halloween? If you're looking for something to do, or are just going to trick-or-treat or whatever, come and do it with us in Wellington! Some random ideas:

So, on Halloween, we dress up in Halloween costumes/goth/cosplay/WHATEVER! and go trick-or-treating. Wadestown worked quite well last year, but whatevs. Then we go to Nightmare Before Christmas 3D movie, since its awesome, and Halloween-y, and I've never seen a 3D movie or NBC on big screen haha.

I was thinking, a group trick worked last year, despite its spontaneity, and maybe this year, we could do the "Thriller" dance? I mean, 10 cosplayers doing Thriller in Halloween costumes... how cool is that? Or maybe Hare Hare Yukai if we don't have time to learn thriller Razz

Also, I know where the people who egged Panini live....if you guys are up for some revenge Evil or Very Mad

I figured it's about time I write something about this....

I was watching the videos on 's journal, go watch them, they rock. And I was just reminded about HOW F**KING AWESOME IT WAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though, that was the most fun I've had in a long, long time! I love being a geek, meeting everyone was great, everyone's cosplays rocked, I got into the second round of the Kamehameha contest, I got to meet Lisa Furukawa and Spike Spencer, we did the Caramell Dansen and Hare Hare Yukai....

Could not have imagined an awesomer time!!!

Plug for 4th of May meetup: 10am Sunday at Borders, Wellington. Be there in cosplay fool!


Thinking about cosplaying Road from D. Gray-man next....Man, I'm all keyed up now....

On a side note, those fanfics flamed were truly, truly horrific....

And I watched the first 4 vols of Le Chevalier d'Eon, it's fantastic!!! I feel really sorry for d'Eon though, having to crossdress all the time... poor guy.
